Highway Planning and Corridor Studies

I-55/I-64 MS River to I-64 IL RT.3 Ramp Project

Our team develops a comprehensive engagement strategy to ensure transparency and community inclusion. We maintain a stakeholder database, conduct meetings with key officials and community leaders, and organize pop-up events to bring the project directly to residents. Added Dimension also designs project branding, manages the website, produces regular e-newsletters, and facilitates public meetings and open houses — ensuring stakeholders remain informed, heard, and valued throughout the process.

Added Dimension, LLC supported the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) in developing a multi-modal vision for the I-70 Corridor from St. Louis to Wentzville. As part of the Envision I-70 Planning and Environmental Linkages (PEL) study, our team facilitated focus groups, led public engagement efforts, and designed and maintained the project website — a key tool for sharing updates and gathering community input. The study’s recommendations aimed to enhance sustainable mobility, economic competitiveness, and community connections along this vital corridor.

Corridor Rehabilitation Project

I-255 Rehabilitation Project

Added Dimension, LLC served as the Public Involvement Consultant for the Illinois Department of Transportation’s 18-month I-255 rehabilitation project — the region’s first full interstate closure. Spanning 7 miles from Collinsville Road to Illinois Route 15, the project addressed critical roadways, bridges, and drainage improvements.

Disparity Studies

Added Dimension, LLC partnered with Keen Independent to support the 2023 St. Louis City and County Joint Disparity Study. This study analyzed disparities in the utilization of minority- and women-owned business enterprises (M/WBEs) in public contracts and assessed workforce equity on publicly funded construction projects, including participation by apprentices, workers of color, women, and residents.

Our team conducted in-depth interviews with local business owners, trade associations, unions, general contractors, and business chambers to gather valuable public input on marketplace conditions. This outreach helped ensure the study accurately reflected community experiences and informed future policy decisions.

Added Dimension, LLC served as the engagement consultant for a 9-month market analysis and feasibility study to reimagine the old Jamestown Mall in St. Louis County, Missouri. This community-driven process invited residents and business owners to shape the site’s future through small group discussions, focus groups, and online surveys.

Added Dimension, LLC is the community engagement consultant for the 18-month aRT3 Planning Study, focused on creating a sense of place and improving traffic safety along the Route 3 corridor. Our team facilitates pop-up events in Venice and Granite City, manages the stakeholder database, conducts individual meetings with key stakeholders, and participates in open houses. These efforts ensure community voices shape the corridor’s enhancements, including art installations and transportation safety improvements.

Market Analysis & Community Feasibility Studies

Jamestown Mall Market Analysis

Partner: i5Group- Year: 2022

Added Dimension, LLC served as the engagement consultant for a 9-month market analysis and feasibility study to reimagine the old Jamestown Mall in St. Louis County, Missouri. This community-driven process invited residents and business owners to shape the site’s future through small group discussions, focus groups, and online surveys.

Our team maintained the stakeholder database, facilitated neighborhood meetings, and coordinated public forums for scenario evaluation. We also kept the community informed and engaged with regular e-blast updates, ensuring local voices remained at the heart of the redevelopment conversation.

 

Added Dimension, LLC served as the engagement consultant for a 6-month land use master planning project in the Spanish Lake community, led by the i5 Group. This initiative invited residents and business owners to shape the future of their community by sharing their vision and providing input on three land use scenarios that highlighted community strengths while considering market realities.

Our team maintained the stakeholder database, facilitated two interactive community workshops with visual preference surveys, coordinated an open house for feedback on proposed scenarios, and participated in a community engagement workshop where residents identified local strengths and challenges.

 

Watershed Planning

Prairie Du Pont Watershed Plan

Partner: Heartlands Conservancy- Year: 2022-2023

In 2022, Added Dimension, LLC partnered with Heartlands Conservancy to support community engagement for the Prairie DuPont (PDP) Watershed Plan. This resident-driven initiative gathered input from local stakeholders, organizations, and federal agencies to shape a sustainable environmental strategy.

 Our team facilitated committee and advisory meetings, attended key stakeholder sessions, and helped identify potential Best Management Projects. We coordinated public open houses, hosted community pop-up events, and assisted with developing outreach materials — all to ensure local voices guided the plan’s development and implementation.

Long-Range Transportation Plan & Study

Long-Range Transportation Plan

Partner: East-West Gateway- Year: 2022

In 2022, Added Dimension, LLC, in partnership with ICF, led the community engagement efforts for East-West Gateway Council of Governments’ Connected 2050 Long-Range Transportation Plan. This initiative invited residents and regional stakeholders to shape the future of transportation by refining guiding principles that balance system performance with community livability and economic goals.

Our team coordinated diverse outreach activities, including pop-up events, public open houses, virtual focus groups, and surveys. We established an Equity Advisory Group to champion inclusive participation and facilitated interviews and discussions with historically impacted communities — ensuring every voice had the chance to influence the region’s transportation future.
